Want a really unique piece of art?

Kia ora, I’m Katie from New Zealand!

My art comes from deep inside my brain, an interpretation of the world we live in and also what is happening in mine. A lot of pieces are based on my journey with ME/CFS, while others, my learnings and musings. I am fascinated by the complex nature of everything amid the chaos of life, therefore my style is based around an underlying technical structure in an unstructured environment. A microscopic view of the intricacies and juxtaposition of technology, environment and society at a cellular level.

I find that colour alone does not convey the complexity of my ideas, which is why I use fine line ink shapes and patterns to express the vastness of components that contribute to any given theme or idea.

Please enjoy my art.
